I sense there has been a seismic shift from discrete content to a process of inquiry. Does this shift come at the cost of deep research and discovery of content? If attention is constantly fragmented into inquiries such as "why do we study this?", "whose point of view are we observing here?", "are there alternative points of view we should be examining?". "what is my personal interest in this?", "how best can we study this?", do we fail to leave sufficient time for the actual content inquiry to occur in truly deep and rich ways?
